How to start an AI mock interview
The practice room lets you choose a role, language, experience level and interview focus. In addition, you can add a job description to give the interviewer more context.
- Set the role you want.Enter a specific title, such as Accountant or Civil Engineer. Also, add the vacancy’s main duties if you have them.
- Choose voice or text.Allow microphone access when starting voice practice. Alternatively, text practice works without a microphone or camera.
- Answer one question at a time.Explain your own actions and outcomes. However, ask for a repeat or clarification if you need it.
- Review the evidence.Finish the session to see available ratings and excerpts from your answers. Then practise the questions again.

Gulf employers hire across many industries. Therefore, use the job description to keep your practice relevant instead of memorising one general script.
- Accounting: explain reconciliation, invoice checks and approval controls.
- Engineering and technical roles: discuss troubleshooting, safe working methods and the limits of your authority.
- Data and software: practise SQL, code reasoning and how you check results.
- Sales, support and coordination: describe communication, priorities and customer follow-up.
These are topic examples. However, generated questions and technical judgments can be wrong; verify specialist information with an appropriate source.

How AI mock interview ratings work
An available practice score uses four dimensions. For example, each rating is linked to a source excerpt from your answer. The server checks the excerpt before displaying it; it does not prove that the AI judgment is correct.

A final rating considers the answered session as a whole. However, it is not an average of earlier scores. If sufficient evidence cannot be validated, the tool withholds the score. Therefore, treat every rating as a practice estimate, not proof of job readiness.
Build a useful answer
Prepare before you practise
Before you start, choose two real work examples. For each, note the situation, your responsibility, the action you took and the result. Use the STAR structure when it fits, but keep your explanation natural.
For example, “I helped with accounts” gives little detail. “I checked invoices against purchase records and raised mismatches with my supervisor” makes your contribution clearer. Finally, add a result only if it is true.

Language and privacy
Practise in your preferred language
Choose English, Hindi, Arabic, Urdu or another available language in the practice room. However, speech recognition quality can vary by device, background noise and pronunciation. For example, use text if a technical term is captured incorrectly.
Microphone audio and interview text are sent to OpenAI while using the relevant mode. Meanwhile, camera preview is optional and stays on your device. AI mock interview FAQs
Is this a real recruiter interview?
No. You are practising with an AI system. Gulf Career Group does not use this practice session to select you for a job or promise an offer.
Do I need a camera?
No. Also, the camera starts off. You can practise by voice or text without turning it on, and any optional camera preview stays in your browser.
Can I use the tool for Gulf job interviews?
Yes. Enter your target role and the vacancy’s responsibilities. Use practice to explain your experience clearly, then research the particular employer and interview format.
Why might a practice score be unavailable?
The tool withholds a score when it cannot validate the assessment evidence or there is too little relevant information. However, you can still rehearse the question and improve your example.
What if voice practice does not hear me correctly?
Check the selected language and microphone permission. Next, speak in a quiet setting and allow a short pause after finishing. If problems continue, use text or another available voice mode.
Can the AI assess technical answers accurately?
It can ask technical questions, but its judgment can be incorrect. Therefore, verify calculations, code and specialist advice independently. In other words, the practice score is not a professional certification.
Does the website keep a permanent interview history?
The interview plugin uses temporary session records and does not offer a permanent answer history. OpenAI processes the submitted data under its own policies and account settings; our Privacy Policy explains the website’s practices.
